About Seaside, FL

Seaside FL Real Estate

Seaside, FL was founded in 1981 by Robert & Daryl Davis. They had a vision, first imagined by his grandfather back in 1946, of a cottage town by the sea where families could come together, play together and enjoy the simpler things in life. The town founders worked in conjunction with their architectural partners, Andres Duany and Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk, of Duany, Plater-Zyberk and company. Architectural styles have Neoclassical, Victorian, Modern and Post Modern influences, to name a few. Seaside is one of the first American cities designed with New Urbanism principles in mind, which emphasize on homes and stores being walkable to each other. Community parks are abundant and outdoor interaction is encouraged.

All of these principles have helped to define what Seaside, FL has blossomed into today. A vibrant, yet cozy beach town that is nested in the heart of Scenic 30a. The preferred method of travel in Seaside is either walking or biking. Stroll down to one of the 9 conveniently located Beach Pavilions that Seaside has for it's owners and guests. Seaside is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico to the south, Watercolor to the west and north, and Seagrove Beach to the east. Owners and guests often come together in the Seaside Town Center for breakfast, lunches, dinners and more. Outdoor concerts, a weekly Farmer's Market, wine festivals and numerous shops and restaurants are just a few of the perks that Seaside has to offer. Be sure to visit Bud and Alleys, Southern Kitchen and all the food trucks parked near 30a. They are all a fun experience!

Seaside, FL real estate consists of homes, condos and a few remaining lots. The condos are all located around the Seaside Town Center and many have amazing views overlooking the green space and on to the gulf. Seaside homes vary from small, modest cottage homes to upscale beach front dream homes. Our expert agents have a great deal of experience negotiating the complex Seaside real estate market.
